reverie

The Reverie: Cirque on Ice soundtrack is an epic, orchestrated take on an vast mystical ice world. The score is a sonic walk through the dream of Aurora, sharing the wide swings in emotions of a child.

Ambient soundscapes lend a richness to the overall grandeur of orchestrations, while sonically, the score moves from epic orchestral pieces, to rock and roll, to country, to blues and pop. Aurora’s theme threads the pieces together, giving a true musical story to the composition.

Eclipse

An eclectic mix of Western and Chinese instruments, the Eclipse original soundtrack captures the spirit of ancient ceremonious traditions surrounding the legendary tale of the celestial dragon that consumed the sun and moon.

The rhythms highlighted create colorful tonal changes while the sublime vocals mimic resounding incantations with otherworldly effects.

Equinox

The role of darkness and light creates pulsating rhythms in this mystical representation of struggle and opposition between the forces that brought forth illumination and rebirth from the shadow’s dominion during the winter solstice.

Discord lurks throughout the soundscape in syncopated perversions of the percussions and electric guitar but is smoothed by the ethereal reverberations of choral accompaniment, sustained strings, and enchanting woodwinds.

Ultimately, the bright staccato blasts from the trumpets converge harmoniously as the representation of the sun’s ascension to its zenith—celebrating the restoration of balance. EQUINOX.

Solstice

SOLSTICE is an intergalactic seasonal movement of the summer and winter solstices is captured in this rhythmic clash of day and night. Underscored with an electro-sonic texture that creates trans portal sensations, the transition of the fiery electric guitars coupled with whimsical percussion to the chilling, luscious vocals accompanied by the effervescent pizzicato sound of the violins, creates dynamic contrasts of energy that encapsulate the warmth and frost of this celestial occurrence melodiously brought to life.

Physical-Magic

The Physical Magic 15th anniversary remaster CD is set for release in December 2015.

The Physical Magic original soundtrack is an eclectic mix of world-beat sounds, pulsating percussion and the edginess of rock and roll guitars. Listeners are lulled into breathtaking soundscape only to be awakened by gritty guitars driving the score.

With additional arrangements by famed Cirque du Soleil composer, Rene Duperé, the Physical Magic soundtrack retains the quirky ‘cirque’ sounds and mixes them with a more modern electronica sounds.
