Following the success of A Cirque Nutcracker with their audiences, the US Air Force invited Circo Luci back to Japan with a new holiday themed production, Cirque Noel in 2005.
Cirque Noel was the fourth show from Circo Luci and the second holiday-themed Circo Luci production. Cirque Noel is available for booking for multi-week holiday engagements only in the months November and December. The show has a theater version and is adaptable to a multitude of venues.

twisting bodies, people flying through the air, and balancing that couldn’t possible be real
Cirque Noel is a fusion of cirque-style acrobatic, aerial performance, magic and dance woven into a joyous holiday theme.
The show is a journey through the different images of the holiday season, led by aerialists, acrobats, dancers, and fantasy creatures. Elves, fairies and other fanciful creatures come together to create a fantasy tapestry of performance and movement.
The central character of the show is a journeyman in the search of the ‘spirit’ of the holidays. This character finds the true ‘spirit’ of the holidays in the finale, where all of the elements of the holidays combine to create the true ‘spirit’ of the season.
Cirque Noel from Circo Luci is available for booking for multi-week holiday engagements worldwide only during the months of November and December. The show has a theater version but can also be presented in several different types of unique and specialized entertainment locations, including convention centers, temporary spaces, tents, open areas, retail venues and outdoor settings.
The Cirque Noel production includes the following:
Shipping requirements can be scaled depending on show size and scope of technical infrastructure required for the performance. The show can adapt to existing staging, lighting and rigging layouts. POET Theatricals’ goal is to reduce the preproduction cost and installation of the show as much as possible, and we work with presenters to trim these expenses.
Examples of shipping requirements are:
Soft Sets The Cirque Noel “Soft Set” production requires cargo space of one 24’ truck or a 40’ high-cube oceangoing container (for overseas productions). This includes all of the soft goods (theatrical drops) and video projection surfaces used in the production and staging of the performance.
Full Set The “Full Set” production includes the entire hard set of the show and the “soft set”. This version includes all of the stair units, multi level sets, and other stage elements. This version travels in one 53’ truck or one 40’ and one 20’ oceangoing containers (for overseas productions).
Turn-key Our “turn-key” production package adds all lighting, sound, venue required soft goods, venue rigging and staging for the show in a complete turn-key package. This additional technical support travels in 1 or 2, 53-foot tractor trailers, depending on the level of production support required for the venue.
