SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS

Shipping requirements for the Eclipse Show Package can be scaled depending on size and scope of technical infrastructure required for the performance package. The shows can adapt to existing venue staging, automated and conventional lighting and rigging layouts. Our goal is to reduce the preproduction and installation expense of the entertainment as much as possible to get the most performance impact on stage.

The shipping requirements for the Eclipse Show Package are:

Full Package Set

The “Full Package Set” production includes the complete physical sets for all three shows presented in the Eclipse Show Package. This complete version includes all of the set elements, stair units, multi level stage sets, and all of the other physical stage elements used in the performance of the three shows (Eclipse, Edge, and Ovations). This complete version of the Eclipse Show Package travels in four 53-foot tractor trailers or five 40-foot ocean going high cube shipping containers (for overseas productions).

Turn-key
 Technical

Our “turn-key” production package adds all of the required automated lighting, sound reinforcement, performance space required soft goods, performance rigging infrastructure and staging needed for the three shows included in the package, completely turn-key and ready to install. The additional equipment included in the turn-key technical support for the Eclipse Show Package travels in one or two 53-foot semi trucks, and depends on the specific technical support needed by the venue to present the three live productions.

TRAVELING CAST AND CREW

Eclipse Show Package has a performing cast of 18 vocalists, dancers, circus artists, unique specialty acts and aerialists.

Crew size required to operate the shows are three persons: 1 Technical director, 1 front of house show operator (sound, lighting, media and show control), and 1 lead rigger/ acrobatic rigger. For extended presentations, local crew and staff can be trained for some of these crew positions.

A. The Eclipse Show Package is made up of three completely different shows, Eclipse the Show (a cirque-style European theatrical circus), EDGE (a pop dance, aerial and special effects spectacle show), and OVATIONS (concert presentation of the musical hits of Broadway and the West End).
A. The shows in the Eclipse Show Package are appropriate for all ages.
A. The shows included in the package (Eclipse, Edge, and Ovations) were originally performed in a theater, but were designed to be adaptable and to be performed in custom open spaces, tents, convention spaces, retail spaces and in outdoor venues.
A. Load in time frames for the three productions typically depends on access to the space and venue architecture, but usually the shows take approximately two weeks to completely install and adapt them to the specific venue. After show package installation and tech, the three different shows can be rotated and ready for performance in as little as 6 hours (this depends on the number of changeover crew available, the performance stage and storage access of the equipment being rotated.)
A. There are a total of 18 performers in the production package comprised of aerial performers, live vocalists, circus acrobats, specialty acts and dancers. The entire cast of 18 performers performs in all three shows in the Eclipse Show Package.
A. The performance soundtracks used in the three live productions (Eclipse, Edge, and Ovations) are originally recorded for the shows (an original composition for Eclipse the Show, original studio recordings of popular hits for Edge, and original recordings of Broadway musical hits for Ovations).
A. In their original format, the shows were sixty minutes long, but can be shortened to thirty minutes. In some instances the production shows can be extended to full theatrical-length (ninety minutes).
A. The Eclipse Show Package travels with its own theatrical performer flying systems and the necessary technical crew to operate the specialty equipment. This specialty equipment and operators are included in the cost of the show package. We can easily adapt the equipment to work in a non-theater environment and have done so many times. The anticipated performance space will need to support the rigging loads for the shows and have rigging hanging points for the show’s equipment. Ground supported truss structures are used in applications with no available hanging points. The POET technical team will work with you on the safest and most economical way to install the show package’s aerial equipment into the space.
