REVERIE from Cirque on Ice® is the dream of Aurora, the child-like spirit of the northern light. An eternal child, Aurora fantasizes of what she would be as a grown-up. She creates a dreamlike older “self” to experience her future world of wonder in a mystical place created by the reflection of light off of ice.

As young Aurora drifts off to sleep, she encounters the Traveler, who opens the Dream Box, unleashing a host of eccentric creatures, elements of light and darkness, and a glimpse of her future. She dreams of soaring to the skies as fantastic gifts of dreams are given to her in the forms of colorful characters, graceful skaters, dynamic acrobats and beautiful melodies.

As Aurora takes to the sky leaving this dream world of fire and ice, of games and pixies, of icicles and creatures, she unites with her future self, her destiny, her REVERIE.

Between Dinner Courses
Cirque on Ice coordinates entertainment segments with venue dinner service throughout the evening. Alternating hotel food service with Cirque on Ice entertainment allows for seamless integration of Cirque on Ice cirque-style performances within a corporate dinner event. This also creates an opportunity to maximize the entertainment value of Cirque on Ice with fewer performers, saving money, increasing impact and delivering a better guest experience. The “between the dinner courses” version of Cirque on Ice is one of our most popular corporate event cirque-style entertainment packages.

Theater Performance
(table seating or theater style)
Cirque on Ice performs a corporate entertainment “theater-style” show following dinner, awards, or other types of presentations. Cirque on Ice’s show length and entertainment content is completely customizable, and can be based on the event theming or corporate messaging. This type of Cirque on Ice cirque-style corporate event performance is most similar to what would be seen in a public presentation of Cirque on Ice in a casino or on tour in theaters.

The Reverie: Cirque on Ice soundtrack is an epic, orchestrated take on an vast mystical ice world. The score is a sonic walk through the dream of Aurora, sharing the wide swings in emotions of a child.

Ambient soundscapes lend a richness to the overall grandeur of orchestrations, while sonically, the score moves from epic orchestral pieces, to rock and roll, to country, to blues and pop. Aurora’s theme threads the pieces together, giving a true musical story to the composition.

Corporate event productions of Cirque on Ice can be scaled from a full public style production to smaller footprint productions based on budget, venue size and timing restrictions. Cirque on Ice does have a synthetic ice rink available if synthetic ice is used as a performance surface.

Shipping requirements can be scaled depending on show size and scope of technical infrastructure required for the performance. The show can adapt to existing staging, lighting and rigging layouts. Examples of shipping requirements are:

• Pack and Fly Production
The “pack and fly” production of Cirque on Ice is our most popular shipping option for corporate entertainment events. Show costumes and props pack and fly with traveling cast and crew as excess airline baggage. Artistic aerial rigging is limited to manual lifting and flying systems. Perfect for smaller corporate entertainment events or events where the entertainment production is integrated into and existing stage and set layout. Video media reinforcement can be provided in advance to enhance the production. NOTE: The ice skating surface is not included with this package or shipping estimate.

• Soft Sets
Our “Soft Set” production version of Cirque on Ice requires minimal freight for 2 road cases approximately 300 pounds each contain the Cirque on Ice backdrop and soft set elements for the entertainment production. The soft set elements may include projection surfaces depending on the Cirque on Ice presented for the corporate entertainment event. NOTE: The ice skating surface is not included with this package or shipping estimate.

• Full Set
The “Full Set” production includes the entire hard set of Cirque on Ice and the “soft set” and the synthetic ice skating rink. This version includes all of the stair units, multi level sets and other stage elements. This version travels in 24-foot to 53-foot trucks.

• Turn-key
Our “turn-key” production package includes all lighting, sound, video projection, sets, soft goods, rigging, synthetic ice skating rink and staging for the event in a complete turn-key package. This version travels in two or three 53-foot tractor-trailers, depending on the level of production support required for the version of Cirque on Ice presented.

• Flying Automation
Shipping requirements for the different flying automation packages are detailed on the POET Technical Services portion of the website. Note that there are manual performer flying systems available for Cirque on Ice that can function for many corporate entertainment theatrical flying applications, in addition to motorized theatrical flying systems.
